My Students
It's tough concentrating on an activity with 24 other children in the classroom engaged in learning! Our iPads and computers are fantastic learning tools, but we need headphones. Try learning how to form letters and numbers without lead in pencils! We need new pencil sharpeners to continue to write.
Kindergarteners are social learners!!
They love sharing what they know with others!! I believe in providing my students an environment that supports such collaborative learning. Our school received iPads through a special grant. Students love using the new technology to practice what they have learned. However, the everyday classroom noise can distract some children from learning. Having headphones to connect to the iPads and computers will greatly reduce distraction from surrounding noise so students can focus on their learning activities.
My Project
Having the headphones to use with our iPads and computers will motivate all students to learn skills needed to read, write, add, and subtract. The headphones will help reduce the noise in the classroom so that students utilizing the iPads and computers will be focused. Also, the pencil sharpeners are a much needed basic school supply that we need daily.
