My Students
I have a wonderful group of 4th graders! They are eager and motivated to learn! My goal is to create a safe and comfortable learning environment for my students to give the best that they possibly can, every day!
As a teacher, I try to always keep the compassion alive in me, especially for my students.
We see these children every day and sometimes don't know their struggles, their worries (tests can be a lot of pressure!), and there is no better way to connect with your students than understanding them. Doing so, I am learning on a daily basis that they need things that I cannot provide on my own. That is where generous donors from DonorsChoose.org come in--you make this a reality for them. My Project
When you have a classroom full of 23 students every day, materials are bound to run out! I never want the lack of basic materials to decrease the quality of instruction and learning for my students. This is why I order the most basic supplies for our classroom so whenever those "Oh oh, we ran out!" moments occur, I am readily available to provide a solution!
A portable white board, dry erase markers, pocket sheet protector folders, and tape will help facilitate instruction, while allowing students to have everything they need in our classroom.
Whether it's solving math problems on a white board, or doing a gallery walk about main idea, my students will have the materials to engage in a more student-led approach to teaching!
