Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Who doesn't like to have an option for sitting? The students spend enough time in their desks and always ask for the carpet. I plan on having these fun seating options for students to be excited to use. They can use these seats for independent work and reading fun! This is will help the students to move around the room throughout the day. Staying in the same place all day doesn't help the students focus and having the choice of a place the student feels comfortable or fun will encourage their participation.

Giving students a choice and comfort will only help their participation and concentration.

Sometimes the given school chairs are not the most comfortable and can feel like the student is stuck. By giving different seating options will help give the students a choice and willingness to participate and focus.
