My Project
Having an Elmo document camera in my 1st grade classroom will promote student learning, increase attention spans, and engage students of all learning styles. This document camera hooks up to display anything we are working on largely on our whiteboard. I want to ensure every student in class can see clearly, no matter where they sit in my classroom.
I can invite students to share their work under the document camera, encouraging peer learning and active participation, which makes for a fun and dynamic learning environment!
All of my students will benefit from having this Elmo camera in the classroom, especially my students who are visual learners. It will also allow us to work collaboratively and will boost student confidence!
Document cameras provide clear and enlarged projections of mathematical problems, word problems, pictures and more! I will be able to provide super fun interactive lessons for my students by demonstrating step-by-step problem-solving in real-time. This interactive approach allows students to see the thought process behind solving math problems and understanding text – these are important foundational skills we work on building in 1st grade!
