Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are resilient students who are facing some unimaginable challenges inside and outside the classroom. In some cases, school is their home away from home, and their only sense of stability.

As an educator, I feel the responsibility to support my students both academically and socio-emotionally.

This project aims to bring some joy and a smile to my students' faces by interacting in a fun activity with their peers.

The items on this list will be used as prizes, wrapped inside plastic wrap to create a giant ball filled with candy and treats and play a "Saran Wrap Ball" game. All students will get the opportunity to take turns unwrapping the ball and the prizes they unwrap will be theirs to keep.

My students all have individual goals depending on their challenges and areas of improvement. The gift cards will be given to students who have reached individual academic, behavior, or attendance goals.
