My Project

My intervention groups work really hard on skills that they are struggling with. I want to positive reinforce this effort using some of the prizes and fun materials in this project. They enjoy writing with different colored pens & pencils when practicing math skills. We can use the stylus pens to spell words and solve problems on our tablets. We also use virtual manipulatives as well! My students don't have a lot of their own resources at home and they have fun exploring new things at school. It also helps keep things engaging each day as we practice getting stronger at our math and reading skills!

In my groups, we have a reward system where students can earn small prizes for consistent effort, progress, and good behavior.

For example, each time a student completes a task or participates actively in class, they will receive points that can be redeemed for various rewards, such as small toys, stickers, or extra playtime. These tangible rewards will serve as motivation for students to stay focused and strive to do their best, knowing they have something to look forward to when they meet specific goals.
