My Students

We are a Title One school where one hundred percent of my students receive free breakfast, lunch and snacks. Many of my students are the recipients of food bags on the weekends, as well as other resources to meet their needs. I am constantly blown away by the way my students exhibit strength, compassion for others and enthusiasm for their own learning.

My students come to school ready to work, learn and grow their brains, despite anything else that may be going on in their lives.

My Project

My students would love to have read aloud books that we can enjoy for fun and for instructional time. Our classroom has been gifted so many beautiful books, but I am always surprised by how quickly we go through them! We definitely need a large number of books to keep kids engaged.

We want to celebrate different holidays and practice gratitude in our classroom; these books will help us do just that!

We love reading and want to continue to foster that love all year round. I appreciate your consideration in helping to ensure that my students are readers for life.
