Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are budding artists, always eager to explore new techniques and materials. They are curious, imaginative, and full of boundless energy. I believe that art education is essential for fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and self-expression.
With your support, I can transform my classroom into a vibrant art studio.
The foam stickers, ribbon, mega craft kit, small pompoms, no-clog glue, colored cellophane, and clear transfer tape will allow my students to engage in hands-on, project-based learning experiences.
Students will create tactile stations using the materials to explore texture, color, and shape. They will combine different textures to create unique and visually appealing artwork. Using the craft kit and other materials, students will build three-dimensional sculptures with a variety of textures.
Through these activities, my students will develop fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, and a deeper appreciation for art. They will learn to experiment, create, and express themselves in a tangible way.
My goal is to create a rich and stimulating learning environment where my students can discover the joy of art and the power of their own imagination. By providing these resources, I can help my students develop the skills and confidence to become lifelong learners and artists.
