My Students
We are one of the most selected high schools in New York City. My 5 Mandarin classes consist of 170 amazing, smart, and hard-working students who are eager to learn about Chinese culture and language. They are from families believing in the power of education.
My Project
These are books for my students to learn the Chinese language and culture. My students have a great interest in learning this new language and its amazing culture.
They will take the LOTE (Language other than English) test next June.
It is a hard test, an NYS Regents-level foreign language test that can be intimidating to my students even though they have studied so hard. We have very limited resources to study for this hard test.
Now I found these good books that might help my students with their daily practice in class. With these books at hand, I can compose a comprehensive study guide for my students who are preparing or going to prepare for the incoming LOTE test. My students and I would really appreciate your donation! Thank you.
