My Project

In times of challenge, like during standardized testing, creating a warm and supportive environment is crucial for our students' well-being and success. That's why we're reaching out to you for help in funding something truly special: personalized notes of encouragement.

Through this project, our students will not only receive encouragement but also learn the profound impact of compassion.

By supporting each other, they'll gain insights into their classmates' struggles and develop empathy in a way that textbooks can't teach.

These heartfelt messages, crafted by both peers and myself, will serve as beacons of support during testing. They'll offer not just words, but the comforting embrace of a caring community, helping our students feel seen, valued, and empowered to conquer their fears.

We'll measure the success of this initiative not just by test scores, but by the depth of compassion it fosters among our students. Through qualitative assessments and thoughtful reflections, we'll witness the transformative power of kindness in action.

And it doesn't stop there. Alongside these heartfelt notes which will be created with the paper, ink, motivational stickers in English and Spanish, we plan to provide each student with a goodie bag filled with small comforts like cookies, chips, and candy to serve as a tangible reminder that they're supported and valued, not just as test-takers, but as individuals with hopes, fears, and dreams. They will also receive mints to foster concentration during the test.
