This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach 12th grade students that need a passing score on the reading standardize test. My Title I students sometimes lack focus do to being hungry.

I am requesting snacks for my 38 12th grade Title I students.

Title I means that some students go hungry which leads to lack of focus. Without a passing score on the reading test, these students will not earn a high school diploma.

I would like to provide snacks for the students leading up to testing as well as creating snack bags for the students to have during testing breaks.
