Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Each child deserves to have the materials he/she needs to do the work required and privacy when showing all that they know. The students have been using make-shift testing folders and using real ones would make testing much more organized!
My school is a Title One school and in need of many things.
Even with the high poverty level, we are a "Be Kind School" and emphasis respect and responsibility. The students work hard and are wonderful kids. They are loving and kind, and deserve to have all the best. We celebrate each other and the hard work that we do.
My Project
The students will use the privacy dividers when taking quizzes and tests. They will use the white board markers daily during math and when processing answers in writing. Pencils are crucial to daily work and seem to get used up quickly. The colored pencils will be used for projects the students enjoy doing to enhance the learning experience.
By providing the study dividers for my students, it will make taking tests and quizzes easier.
By providing the writing instruments it will lessen the burden on the school for materials and enable the school to provide other items the students will need.
