Test Review Carnival

My Project

Students will enjoy a day of reviewing all they learned this year to prepare for the state test (STAAR) while also enjoying carnival games when they succeed. Students will play carnival-like games which include, head basketball, ping pong toss into cups, dart board, catching ducks with a fish net, and bean bag toss. All games will have an activity with them, mainly using task cards that are designed for STAAR review that contains content over each genre we covered in class throughout the year. Students will complete the assigned activity to play the game to gain tickets. The amount of tickets will amount to what type of prize, either a candy or a small toy. Students will remember this day and what they learned because they had fun doing it. All students will be better relaxed and energetic towards taking the test.
