My Students

My students thirst for knowledge and wisdom but often lack the resources to quench their thirst.

My school is located in Queens, NY, the most culturally and ethnically diverse neighborhood in the world.

The children who enter my classroom, come from all over NYC. As such, they carry with them a wealth of knowledge that contributes to a dynamic classroom. However, many of my students also come from economically disadvantaged homes. Therefore, many times, resources and some basic supplies are scarce.

My Project

Advanced Placement courses are a fantastic opportunity for hard working students who are interested in earning college credits, saving money, and taking part in high level coursework, while still under the tutelage of their high school instructors. As such, I am always on the look out for supplemental materials that will help my scholars succeed. We will use our subscription to the Albert Small Classroom as a reinforcement for our regular classroom instruction, to add another layer of enrichment to an already challenging curriculum. Students will use the materials in the classroom, as well as on their own, at home, or during designated extra help time. My students will be so grateful for your contribution, which will help them excel on this difficult exam.
