Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Spring has sprung and along with all the wonderful aspects of spring, we can't ignore the inevitable State Tests that await our students. My third graders have already begun preparing for the State Tests. They are doing their best, but they are also very anxious, since it will be their first experience taking a big test.

This project is requesting coloring books, Lego bricks, and Solar System Model to help students alleviate test anxiety.

Students will use the coloring books and Lego bricks after practice tests to help them relax. The coloring books will provide independent mindfulness time, while the Legos will allow students to interact with peers. The motorized Solar System will be enjoyed at the calm corner.
