Terrific Tales for Third Graders

My students need the complete series of The Spiderwick Chronicles, Beyond the Spiderwick Chronicles, and the Eragon Series.

This project is fully funded

I teach a wonderful third grade class in Florida. My class is comprised of an evenly diverse population. A large portion of my class includes students that need additional academic support and materials. Our school and our students are wonderful, but we are a public school facing the series of budget crunches (like many schools) and depend on supporters to help our children.

This project is designed to get my students to read the tales from the Spiderwick Chronicles, Beyond the Spiderwick Chronicles, and the Eragon series. Our school has a student population of almost 900 students, and the school library has only a limited number of these books to offer our students. I would like to help my students have access to these books in my classroom. With your support, my students will have these books at their disposal right in the classroom.

This project is designed to get my students to read books that they enjoy and will encourage them to continue to read. These books and include: (1) The Spiderwick Chronicles (Books #1-5); (2) Beyond the Spiderwick Chronicles (Books #1-3); (3) Arthur Spiderwick's Field Guide to the Fantastical World Around You (a companion guide to the Spiderwick Chronicles); (4) Eragon, Eldest, and Brisingr Boxed Set (Eragon Series); and (5) Eragon's Guide to Alagaesia (A companion guide to Eargon). By receiving these books, you are helping put one of these great titles into the hands of eager readers in my third grade class.

By choosing to support this project, you will be supporting the excitement and imagination of my students as they read some of the most outstanding novels written for children of their ages. This project is important to me as it helps put more great books into the hands of my students. I strongly feel that no student should be limited to access of any great books.
