This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Tell Me A Story is a project that aims to provide my students with materials that will help make reading experiences more engaging and interactive. The materials include: a magnetic felt board and a variety of story puppets, some of which come with the story book as well. The story puppets are characters in classic stories, such as the three little pigs, the little red hen, Goldilocks and the three bears, etc.
Many of my students lack the ability to tell a story from beginning to end due to their communication difficulties, and these materials will assist with making story time more interactive and engaging!
