Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are creative, thoughtful and very interested in Spanish language 90% of the students are Hispanic! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges They come to school each day ready to learn and take chances in order to grow both personally and academically.
It´s going to be the first year they are going to learn Spanish as a subject.
and I going to be their teacher. That´s going to be awesome!
The school is located in South West Detroit.
My Project
These interesting books are going to be their first Spanish books in their hands. These new books will allow them to read independently at their own grade level.
These books will be the begining of our special Spanish classroom library.
I also really want to love reading because it improves their brain, it improves imagination, it builds vocabulary, improves writing skills, and gives knowledge. They will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading.
