My Project
Our high school now offers a yoga class to all students, but our mats and yoga blocks are old and in need of a revamp! Our high school students are excited to try something new and learn about the world of yoga. As a 200-hour certified yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance, I was very motivated to extend this opportunity to my students. My class meets once per week throughout each trimester, and the majority of students do not have any experience with yoga. My goal for all students is to learn something new about themselves through their yoga practice and understand how to make yoga accessible and comfortable for their bodies. Part of that is having the right materials, and we are so grateful to all who donate to our project!
