My Project

My students are currently learning about motion, force, and models in science and as a fun and exciting capstone to the unit, I would like to work with them in building and launching model rockets. I think this would be an extremely engaging way of pulling together all of the science they’ve learned in this unit. Through these model rockets, the students can learn about aerodynamics, propulsion, and basic rocket design. These rockets will perfectly demonstrate newtons third law of motion, which tells us that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Not only will they be able to connect their learning to an actual experience, I’m sure they will have a lot of fun with this project.
