Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come from diverse backgrounds and, for many, my class is the first art class they have taken. They love acrylic painting, drawing subjects in nature, and sculpting with air dry clay.

This year, my school district has had to drastically reduce my art supply budget due to financial issues.

I have made my wishlist for next school year, but with my current budget, my students will be lacking many materials that are necessary for my class. Specifically we need paint, paper, markers, clay, and plastic containers to hold their art projects throughout the year.

With my school’s current art budget for 2024-2025, I unfortunately foresee myself spending at least $1000 out of pocket to provide for my classroom’s supply needs this school year. Would you consider donating to help restock the supplies my middle school students are most in need of? We appreciate any donation, no matter how big or small!!
