My Project

Please help to give the Golf Team a Skytrak Golf Simulator with E6 Connect Course Play! Students in grades 6-12 have a great opportunity to play on the school's golf team. However, there are no local golf courses where students can practice without traveling almost an hour outside of the school district. Our team needs a golf simulator so our students can practice at our school. This opportunity will help them to train and be competitive with other schools in the sport. This opportunity will also help with team building and motivation for the students.

Students in our region face economic barriers and there is a lack of funding for extra curricular activities including the golf program.

The funding distributed to the district is used mainly for instruction and no monies are allocated to sports teams except for the pay that coaches receive at the end of the season. Donors from Donor's Choose have given our students so many opportunities that they would never have without these gracious donations.

Students on the Golf Team deserve the same opportunities as those who do not face these barriers. They are a very special group of students who work diligently and put in hours of effort to perfect the game of golf and while the number of students participating is currently low, the goal is to build up the program. This simulator will draw more student interest and opportunity.
