My Students
My students are truly the best. They come to school every day eager to try new things in order to grow personally and academically. They are truly an inspiration to me.
As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, I see my students are faced with many challenges both in and out of the classroom.
Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
My Project
I would like to purchase books with a teddy bear theme to be read during "Teddy Bear Week", which will be our final week before taking our winter break.
I would like to purchase two books per student to keep and read at home.
We will be using the books throughout the week to study story elements, such as characters, setting, plot, and story events. We will practice sequencing story events too.
We will have a culminating "Teddy Bear" party on the Friday before break. I will be delivering these books with a teddy bear as a gift for Christmas and an exciting week of learning.
