Help me give my students an engaging learning environment by using NearPod and Kahoot!

This year, I have the privilege of teaching two sets of the most fearless students I've met in 6 years of teaching. Despite the current challenge of teaching during a pandemic, my students arrive daily with an eagerness to learn that inspires me.
Our class college is Prairie View A&M University, and their motto is "Prairie View produces productive people".
Our goal is to develop skills that will aide us throughout the rest of our educational journey and beyond!
In the short time that I've been able to nurture my scholars, they have truly nurtured me. Their relentless work ethic, their endless craving to know more, their friendly competitive spirits that push themselves and their peers are only a few reasons why this group of scholars are special.
In March 2020, when I first transitioned to 100% virtual learning, I was very discouraged and truly believed that it was impossible to reach my students. I have never truly realized how important it is for students to understand how to use technology. Nevertheless, with lots of perseverance and patience, my students and I made it work. One of the most useful tools I utilized during that time was NearPod.
A lesson that is engaging makes the new learnings and skills "sticky" - it sticks to your brain!
Although we have transitioned partially back to a hybrid or in-person model, I still utilize many of the programs/websites that we used during virtual learning. My students truly enjoy Kahoot and NearPods because it is more interactive. However, it is more difficult to use these programs while circulating throughout the classroom. An iPad would allow me to control my students' devices, as well as my presentation, while still being mobile.
