My Project

I am an elementary technology teacher who teaches some special needs classes. In these classes, we focus a lot on literature and completing an activity that goes along with the book that is read.

I would like to expand my classroom library.

I have been borrowing books from the library for the last few years and am often frustrated when books that I would like to use aren't available. I have attended conferences where other educators share great tech/STEM books and share activities they have done based on these stories. I have slowly been buying books when I'm able, but would really like to get some more great stories into my classroom library.

This year we started with extra classes, where I see a few of my classes twice a week instead of once a week. I have decided to use these books for those extra classes. I am looking to expand my library so that I have go-to books available and can avoid using the same books next year with my students.
