My Students

I would describe my school as a close knit community where our students are very hardworking and driven learners. Our school is in a rural area.

The students in my class are all so motivated to do so much, but sometimes we do not have the things they need to make it happen.

They support and encourage each other to do their best every day.

They have so much to learn in the few months that I have with them. I want them to have every opportunity to succeed in all that they do.

My Project

With computers, my students can create, research, play and discover. We use programs such as Pathblazer, Accelerated Reader, Zearn and Starfall to make our learning fun and engaging.

I want my students to be able to keep up with all of the changes going on in education.

These days, so many things that we do involve technology in some way. I want my students to be ready for the technology based world that we are moving into. My first graders only have two computers to share in the classroom. This along with our busy schedule makes it difficult to ensure enough time for everyone to use the computers.
