My Students

This year my students have the opportunity to experience technology in the classroom! They attend a school that doesn't have a computer lab and their experiences with technology at school are limited.

My students are motivated and engaged first graders who are excited to become strong readers.

Coming from many different backgrounds, each member of our class brings a unique history and contribution. They attend a high poverty Title 1 school in an urban area.

My Project

The document camera and projector will help my students visually when learning. All aspects of our learning can instantly be projected onto the wall. The document camera will be used across subject areas to project math number stories, spelling words, others aspects of curriculum and student work.

The ability to project and share student work with the entire class will help build classroom community.

My students will feel validated by showing their work to their peers. They will be given opportunities to share their knowledge with the classmates. This will enhance our collective learning experience. In addition, my visual learners will especially benefit from seeing an exact model of material as I am explaining it to them.
