My Students

My students show a great passion for learning and get excited when they connect with the content. We explore reading, social studies, science, and math topics with the world around us. I have some students who are learning English as a second language. We hope to build our skills to prepare for future success.

We greatly enjoy activities that involve hands-on learning and exploring with materials in the classroom and outdoors.

Our first-grade class has fun at school. I enjoy connecting with them each day.

My Project

I am asking for one additional iPad mini for my classroom technology station along with a set of 10 nice headphones to replace the cheap broken pairs. This additional iPad will equip another student during reading and math rotations to practice reading great books on Epic and practicing math facts. We also take monthly literacy and math assessments on the pad, so this addition will help in the process running smoothly. I currently have six iPad minis and the addition of one would increase the possibilities. My class also uses the Seesaw app on the iPad to record the student's learning so their parents can see the great things we do in first grade.
