My Students

A document camera and web cam will help facilitate a more interactive classroom learning environment with my kindergartners.

My students are very young energetic learners that come from low-income communities in a southern urban area.

They are from diverse ethnic and racial backgrounds and have limited educational resources. The majority of my students qualify for the free and reduced lunch program at the local public Title 1 school. They are very curious little ones that love to learn and discover.

My Project

Obtaining a document camera and web cam will help enhance many math lessons as well as other subjects. The document camera will help me display documents in vivid color to aid my kindergartners. We will be able to solve problems as a whole group and collaborate with other classrooms within our school district. It will not only benefit all my students but others as well. It will be extremely helpful for my visual learners and my English Language Learners to understand concepts better.

The document camera and web cam will help provide interactive lessons allowing them to take an active role in their education.

The document camera and web cam will make a huge difference not only in math but in other subjects as well. The time you have taken to review this proposal is greatly appreciated.
