My Students

I teach 3 classes of 4th grade writing class and each class is comprised of 22 amazing students, 1/4 of whom are ESE students, meaning they get extra help with their lessons.

More than 80 percent of the school is on free or reduced lunch.

There is a lot of need at this school, but never in my classroom. In my classroom, they are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. We work hard every day! The more I can expose my students to, the more they will absorb. Most of all they love science and reading and writing.

My Project

Currently, our projector is so dark that the students have a difficult time seeing what I project. By advancing the technology, we will have a better time of learning distanced instead of sitting on top of each other on the floor in front of the projection screen.

I model a lot and project what student writing should look like.

By getting new speakers and a projector students will be able to see and hear when we do learning videos, Nearpods, Kahoot learning games, etc. This upgrade will make learning so much easier and more fun for the class.
