My kids are awesome! They have a real love for learning. They come from a variety of social and ethnic backgrounds that create many opportunities to learn about each other and what life is like for those "different" from themselves. I have immigrants, English language learners, students with physical and learning disabilities, and all varieties of home lives. They love technology, art, science, reading, and math. Even though each year brings me a new mix of small humans, I love them all. Once they have been in my class they are "my kids" for life!
My Project
Few industries have been changed in the wake of Covid as drastically as the field of education. Technology is now the daily norm instead of the occasional activity to supplement learning. Some of the tools I have requested will help me meet the needs of my students when they are in the classroom by making it possible for them to not have to share materials with other students that can lead to contamination. Other tools will make it possible for me to instruct students in a hybrid or full online learning situation so that no one misses out on vital core instruction.
