This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a wonderful group of seventh-grade students at an Engineering Pathway Design-Themed Magnet School in Southeast LA. I want to ensure our classroom has the supplies and technology needed to support in-class lessons and project-based learning. Currently, we do not have speakers in our classroom, which makes it difficult for students to hear educational videos during class lessons.

Help give our classroom a high-quality Bluetooth speaker so that every student can hear no matter where they are sitting in class!

A donation to our project will also fund essential supplies that are constantly in need of restocking like colored pencils and chart paper, in addition to a thermal laminator for student work, and a label maker to organize classroom supplies.
