This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is full of energetic students who get to school every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I teach at a Title I school where the majority of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
My students are eager to learn and try their best.
I am hoping to provide my students with what they need most! I want to make sure my students have equal access to everything they need to be successful!
My Project
Help me provide virtual learning with the use of a projector and document camera.
A projector will allow me to create, videotape, and upload lessons for my students to view in their homes as we begin the new school year virtually!
Once we return to school, the projector will be used to support learning in our classroom!
As most districts in Southern California announce they will be starting the school year virtually, I am trying to plan and prepare for a variety of ways learning will take place. This projector will make a huge impact regardless of where the students are learning from. The projector will also attach to a virtual whiteboard I have with which I can model for my students. Once schools are open, my students will use this projector and document camera to support classroom lessons. Current technology will make a difference in academic success!
