My students need tablets and speakers to create a more interactive classroom based on student work.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Sanoff's classroom raised $2,339
This project is fully funded
My Students
Some students lack smartphones or text messaging to be able to participate in our online course. These tablets would support students without these resources. It would also make it possible to create a more interactive classroom.
BHS is an extraordinarily diverse public high school in California.
Our students represent a truly inclusive picture of what our communities can be. 3300 students attend this school. The students impacted by this project will be graduating seniors.
My Project
By providing these tablets, students without a smartphone and in many cases without Internet or computer access at home will be gaining valuable experience participating in our online world. In addition, having tablets will allow groups of students to manipulate graphs and digitally project these answers. This would create an additional level of interactivity. This is why I am participating in the Chevron Classroom Challenge.
This project will allow students to gain technology skills as part of the course goal of achieving 21st century skills goals.
It will allow me to let the work of the students be the centerpiece of the course. This is why I am participating in the Chevron Classroom Challenge.
