My Students

We are not simply each individuals in our class. Instead, we are a class family who learns to care for and support each other. I challenge and encourage my students academically, socially, and emotionally. We work to become people with great character.

Hurricane Harvey made the beginning of the year quite interesting.

We missed over 10 days of school. Through the challenges, our class became even stronger!

I want my students to have everything they need to meet and exceed their goals. I teach an incredible group of kindergarten students! The students come from many different backgrounds and environments. They have kind hearts and are hard working! They love learning new things and constantly show wonderful growth!

My Project

My students need 5 iPads and cases to help them learn, grow, and collaborate with others. iPads will provide students with opportunities to create, connect, and collaborate. We utilize many apps and web resources. One app that we use is SeeSaw: The Learning Journey. This allows students to share their learning with others. This is very powerful and gives students voice and choice. 5 iPads will allow more students to participate in these meaningful experiences.

Students will have hands on experiences that are authentic and meaningful.

These tools will help learning come to life in an engaging way. Furthermore, students will learn how to become safe digital citizens which will be of great benefit in the future.
