My Students

Our students come from a variety of backgrounds. They are curious, eager to learn, kind and determined to succeed. Each year, our goal is to prepare our students for an ever-changing world. This year is no different.

At our school, we embrace the idea of being "the change" each student wants to see in the world.

Students understand their roles in our community and by year's end, they come together to address and solve real world issues.

The students' growth is always amazing to witness, and it brings me newfound hope that our next generation will become the leaders we need. Despite struggling with high rates of poverty, language barriers and lack of essential resources, our students still come to school daily with great enthusiasm and a thirst for knowledge.

My Project

My Project

My students will use these Chromebooks to research information, access the Read Theory online reading program, Kahoot, and create multimedia presentations.

Students will also communicate daily via Google Docs. Our Google Classroom platform will allow students to collaborate easily with peers and submit assignments online, reducing our reliance on paper. This technology will allow students to gain the necessary skills, which will prepare them for college and career.
