Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school was recently donated some 3D printers. These printers came with basic colors like black, yellow, green, red and blue. While the students are loving these colors, they keep asking if there are other colors we can order so they can get even more creative with their 3D printed projects.
Ultimately, I would like my students to have the option to print in other colors to foster their creativity, and provide a hands-on learning experience with technology and design.
While we are still tinkering with the software "TinkerCAD" and learning all about the dimensions of the projects we can create, the project I would love for my student's to start working on is more architectural. A lot of my student's parents are engineers working in the field and I think this would be a great way to connect what they know, to what they want to create.
My students love technology and even more, they love designing and creating new things with technology. We would appreciate any donation towards this project.
