Students LOVE using the play doh both during indoor recess (and boy has it been cold!) as well as during our SEL activities. We use the play doh to add features to faces printed on cards with situations in the background to help explore emotions and feelings.\r\n The bean bag chair has also been a huge hit. Having a second chair has allowed more students to cuddle up with a good book, or find a safe and comfortable space in the calming corner in which to take some deep breaths and regroup.\r\n Finally, the vacuum has allowed me to keep our meeting mats clean.
