My Students
As a fifth grade team, we are fortunate to teach a diverse group of student learners including students in Spanish Dual Immersion and students who are supported though an accommodated core curriculum. With our diverse group, we rely on various methods and best practices to help our students achieve and grow.
Technology is a key component to supporting diverse student learners.
Through technology, we can differentiate our curriculum to reach students who need accelerated material. We can also use technology to help students close critical academic gaps in their learning.
My Project
As a fifth grade team of five teachers, we have quite a diverse group of learners. In order to level the playing field of achievement, we look to technology to support many academic needs. Some needs include accelerating students through research projects, building reading fluency through dictation and play back, increasing writing and spelling habits through speech to text and supporting struggling learners though research based interventions.
Technology, specifically iPads and headphones, can help support our students with various needs.
With technology, we can equalize the learning in our classrooms and create good habits for our students for their future!
