My Project

Help give our class technological support to ensure all of my students have access to their IEP accommodations in order to receive an equitable education!

I teach a substantially separate classroom for students on the autism spectrum in a low-income area.

All of my students have individualized education programs (IEP) and have specific accommodations to ensure they are able to access the curriculum. Some of those accommodations are text-to-speech (read aloud), speech-to-text, and the use of a keyboard/computer/mouse for written assignments.

I am asking for headsets with microphones and computer mice to ensure that my students are able to access their text-to-speech and speech-to-text accommodations!
