My Students

My students are high poverty children in an inner city school. I have a large population of English Language Learners. Many of these students come to school knowing how to speak little English. They strive to learn as much as they can during the school day but aren't provided many opportunities when they leave school. My students are very eager about learning when they are at school. They love the opportunity to use hands-on things to make their experiences more rich.

My Project

My students have a hard time seeing books and sheets that we are working on. The projection camera would help a great deal for those students in the back of the classroom and also for those students who have vision problems but are unable to get glasses to use.

We are also in need of an iPad charging station.

Students iPads are constantly dead because of the lack of places to plug them in at. If we had a charging station they would be easy to plug in and be ready for all of use they get during the day.
