My Students

Students are from a rural area and low income. They live mainly on farm to market roads and the school is located in the county. These students come to school each day ready and willing to learn. They lead very simple lives. Support is given to students daily and the students seem to be on track to be successful. High expectations and a sense of responsibility are required from each student. The school offers an effective study environment to help students practice skills they need in the classroom.

My Project

Students need technology in the classroom. We need headphones for the educational programs we use. This will allow students to work independently. Students are so excited about technology and we are wanting them to advance their growth using this tool in their education. This technology will give them more opportunities to use technology. The personalized learning experience using technology in the classroom has increased student learning. The quality computer programs has grown. The mission is to bring equitable access to each student. Students who are engaged are motivated to learn. Critical thinking skills will promote their ability to be more successful and achieve the learning objectives in school. Active learning requires students to participate in class, with each student having headphones as opposed to waiting for their turn to use the computer. Teachers can have feedback sooner and be able to form class decisions on which student needs remediation and which students are ready to go to an advanced level.
