This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We will use the I pad in class to read books. I want to introduce the students to digital reading. This is a world of advanced technology and most of my students can not afford tablets or I pads. I would like to have a class kindle account for students to enjoy.

Also, the students can enjoy the luxury of using the I PAD for a week.

At our school we use a program called Accelerated reading or AR. After the students complete their digital book they will be required to take a test on the book they just read. I believe giving them a week to read a chapter book will also help them to learn the love of reading and how many different types of genres there are.
