Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work in a low income area, and most of my students are on free or reduced lunch. The computer charging cart I am requesting for my students is necessary because most of my students do not have a computer at home, so the school provides them with a school laptop, but they must leave it in school.
When the students arrive in the morning I allow students who don't have a computer at home to complete unfinished homework.
Since we don't have enough outlets most of the computers are not charged when we arrive. This creates a big problem for the students, and some of them don't finish in time because they must wait for their computer to charge. This charging cart would really be a great asset to our classroom
