My Students

My name is Mrs. R. I love my students. I have the privilege of teaching a group optimistic and eager students. My students are excited about this school year. This year will be a little challenging for my students. My 5th students face the challenge of leaving the Elementary School setting and are transitioning to a Secondary School level of learning. While this might be a small issue in our minds, my 5th graders are very nervous. This would be a perfect moment to show support them and that we believe in them.

We, as the community have been offered the opportunity to invest in our children of our community.

I will teach Language Arts and Social Studies.

My Project

Students use the iPads as video cameras, audio recorders, and multimedia notebooks. Students become creators, not consumers. Digital learning using both the iPad and the specific apps that meet teachers' needs has one huge benefit—students are developing IT skills that they will need when they enter the workforce. These tablets will be used to do incorporate Reading with our learning.

Also, We will have the opportunity to read about other cultures around the world with the technology that being provided.

Learning comes in all different ways, so by having this addition in our classroom will allow us to cater to every learners needs.
