Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The use of a document camera is a daily activity in my classroom. The document camera allows my students to become engaged learners by instilling in them the confidence to come to the front of the classroom or in a small group setting to explicitly explain their thinking, when solving math problems or literacy assignments.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

My students are English Language Learners. Thus, having access to a document camera provides them with a resource to practice and focus on their academic language. The webcam will provide access to academic Zoom Field Trips. Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
