This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"All of us do not have equal talent, but all of us should have an equal opportunity to develop our talents." - John F. Kennedy I work in a high poverty school in the south Bronx. This project will help support my Kindergarten class with 28 students.

My class is in need of some important materials that will assist students with disabilities to become enticed by learning the general education curriculum.

This will be possible by making the classroom more accessible to students in their learning. I am a teacher in a low-income public school in the Bronx. I want to teach my students using technology in meaningful, developmentally-appropriate ways to make learning come alive and differentiate instruction. Learning how to use technology in a educational way will address the stereotype that negatively impacts their education. I want to address all of my learners - the auditory, visual, and kinesthetic. I believe in STEM because it focuses on Science, Math, Engineering and Technology to prepare our students for the demands of our time. My students need iPads, laptops, and desktops to use for differentiated reading, math, science, social studies and writing centers. Individual resources will be beneficial for their growing minds.

My Project

The iPads, laptops, desktop, covers and headphones will allow my students to access information for individual research while finding information to write and read about in all subject areas. I want my students to become independent and own up to their work. I am trying to develop new ways to entice students to STEM careers and offer engaging ways to teach STEM that dismantles old and less-effective learning methods. The iPads, laptops, desktop will allow my students that need the visuals of the ipads, laptops, desktop to benefit. My students need an iPad to use them for differentiated reading and math. The iPads, laptops, and desktop will allow my students to access Raz-Kids and iReady, which makes reading accessible and fun. While in Math, my students will be able to access ST Math. The app for ST Math is beneficial because students will be able to use visuals for math instruction and it represents the highest quality and most effective blended learning math solution using mental math.

I want to empower my students through creativity and independence.

I want my students to build critical-thinking and problem-solving skills! The iPads, laptops, and desktop are important because they are fundamental for my students' progress and learning. My students and I will be very grateful if you help us with our project. My students need to address the stereotype that negatively impacts their education, which is not using technology to educate them. I want my students to value their education.
