This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a Science teacher I have to travel room to room throughout the entire school (4 floors, no elevator) so as you can imagine carrying materials can make for a hectic time, especially since I often teach 3 classes in a row with no break between.

My students are eager to learn.

They come to school at a young age with a love of science, "why?" and "how?" are questions that they love to ask. Being able to teach these students science allows me to let that love for the unknown and the excitement of investigation alive.

My Project

I am requesting an adapter for the projector for both my iPad and MacBook. This will allow me to show students videos, clips, pictures, shared worked, Skype Scientist, etc. I am also requesting a bluetooth speaker as this will allow students to hear whatever it may be that we are watching.

Donations to this project will allow my students to not only view various media, but also Skype and talk with Scientist in the field.

Often times I like to reach out to the greater community and allow students to see what science field careers they can one day achieve through hard work and determination.
