My Project
We use Chromebooks daily for digital notes in Algebra 2 class and having access to a Chromebook allows students to ask and answer questions, take notes that are meaningful to them, and practice evolving their skills in all curriculum subjects. These Chromebooks will help my class be able to expand their knowledge of mathematics and much more in my classroom.
Currently, I have no extra Chromebooks for my students to borrow should they not have their Chromebook or should they be broken and sent out for repairs.
Unfortunately, any student repairs needed on their Chromebooks are taking 5-8 weeks which my students will go with no computer.
In my experience, students who have the opportunity to use computers when needed are students who grow and progress in their learning much faster. In addition, I have students in class with superpowers, that can make their learning and comprehension different. Therefore, having the ability to use an "extra" computer would be an amazing opportunity for them to participate and take notes which will extend their learning potential!
The world is our oyster, and we just need some help to get there!
