Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This is my 8th year of teaching but my first time with the upper grades. I want to create an environment for a passion for reading. I believe that students work best when they have a variety of options for seating. I want to create opportunities for my students to work in small groups as opposed to having individual traditional seating. My students are special because they are hard workers and we are a family. They will appreciate and take care of any furniture donated for their learning.

My Project

My students need technology that is updated because our technology that we currently own is outdated. They need to be able to have multiple access to online resources. There are multiple resources online. One resource that we use is Raz-Kids. Students have access to eReaders and can take take assessments to check their comprehension. Technology is a vital component in a classroom for student success. We would greatly appreciate your donations and would take care of anything given to us. Please assist me in ensuring our future leaders have access to technology for research projects, eReaders and classroom assignments.
